Known as Costus igeus as well. This plant belongs to the family of Costaceae plants. Regular intake helps lower blood glucose levels. Diabetic patients who consumed the leaves religiously reports that their blood glucose levels have decrease significantly.
Intake instructions:
1. The patient has to consume 2 leaves in the morning and 2 leaves in evening for first week. 2. For the second week, the dosage is decreased to 1 leaf in the morning and 1 in the evening.
This dosage should be continued for 30 days.
Insulin plant must be chewed well before swallowing.
